We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Kano<br \/>\n<strong>Ref Id:<\/strong> sfh-54323<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Duration:<\/strong> 6 Months<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Role<\/strong><br \/>\nThe successful candidates will perform the following functions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate and supervise the activities of peer educators at the state level.<\/li>\n<li>Organise and lead planning for research activities at the state level.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining and monitoring data and databases to support the improved availability and use of process monitoring and evaluation data.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and provide technical support to peer educators.<\/li>\n<li>Provide capacity building of users including training, mentoring and supportive supervisory visit.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare meetings and monthly progress report to the project coordinator, which summarises progress against key indicators.<\/li>\n<li>Track and follow up on referrals for health and social services in the facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Build the capacity of peer educators and peers through training, mentoring and supportive supervisory visit.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure complete, accurate and quality of project data.<\/li>\n<li>Organise and hold monthly review meetings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Statistics, Monitoring And Evaluation, Social Sciences, Public Health or related field of study.<\/li>\n<li>Must possess at least (3) years post-NYSC working experience in project monitoring and evaluation.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate sound knowledge and expertise in data management.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate ability to multi-task and manage deliverables within agreed timelines and budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in a donor-funded environment, NGO or good understanding of international donor rules and regulations will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High Level of Integrity<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of data management and research skills<\/li>\n<li>Innovative<\/li>\n<li>Excellent report writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Coordination and Team Building skills<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with minimal supervision<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/sfhnigeria.simplicant.com\/jobs\/33039-monitoring-and-evaluation-officer-based-in-kano\/detail\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>24th April, 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Society for Family Health (SFH) is one of the leading non-governmental public health organisations in Nigeria, implementing programmes in Reproductive Health\/Family Planning, HIV &amp; AIDS prevention and treatment, malaria prevention&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[1],"tags":[431],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Society for Family Health (SFH) Latest Job Vacancy - Apply Now!
