We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: New Media Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> New Media<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong> Team Lead<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Under the supervision of the Team Lead, the New Media Officer will develop and implement digital marketing initiatives; advertising campaigns that will promote the company&#8217;s products and services on social networking and other online platforms .<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will build effective promotional strategies, be familiar with different media types from offline to the digital advertising channels and have solid skills in digital content creation.<\/li>\n<li>Ultimately, increase the public interest of the company through thoughtful media campaigns while ensuring our advertising cost are within budget.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties And Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be good in the management of digital channels and measure ROI and KPIs<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and manage digital marketing campaigns and budget<\/li>\n<li>Actively engage users on all social network accounts and manage user comments on social network accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor competition and provide suggestions for improvement<\/li>\n<li>Manage newsletter account via Mail Chimp; manage subscriptions and post weekly newsletters to subscribed members.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and organize a wide variety of traditional and electronic contents including articles, presentations, brochures, letters, press releases, web pages, blog and social media posts and direct mail campaigns.<\/li>\n<li>Act as an editorial reviewer for various communications including articles, letters, mass emails, marketing collateral, brochures and advertisements.<\/li>\n<li>Provide weekly\/monthly reports of activities and results<\/li>\n<li>Respond to public information inquiries and be part of the company&#8217;s liaison team for new media efforts across the various platforms Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Blog etc.<\/li>\n<li>Make the company&#8217;s products and services viral online.<\/li>\n<li>Create relevant content to be used on platforms<\/li>\n<li>Suggest a policy and a process for creating and posting content to multiple target websites.<\/li>\n<li>Manage newsletter account via Mail Chimp; manage subscriptions and post weekly newsletters to subscribed members.<\/li>\n<li>Create new campaigns to reach a broader audience.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work with minimal supervision &amp; be able to deliver on time.<\/li>\n<li>Assist team lead in building long-term relationships with media influencers to promote our brand.<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance and improvement of web content, including content generation, user interface and experience, site functionality and brand consistency.<\/li>\n<li>Act as an editorial reviewer for various communications including articles, letters, mass emails, marketing collateral, brochures and advertisements.<\/li>\n<li>Actively engage users on all social network accounts and manage user comments on social network accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Provide weekly reports regarding viewership, followership and subscribers.<\/li>\n<li>Work with other departments in regards to new media.<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education Qualifications, Experience, Skills And Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First degree from a reputable high institution<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years relevant experience as a New Media expert<\/li>\n<li>Data Analysis<\/li>\n<li>Writing and editing skills<\/li>\n<li>SEO &amp; SEM<\/li>\n<li>Listening skills<\/li>\n<li>Email marketing skills<\/li>\n<li>Consumer Relationship Management (CRM)<\/li>\n<li>Social media skills &amp; Paid Social Media Advertising skills<\/li>\n<li>Basic design skills (Canva, photoshop, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Mobile marketing<\/li>\n<li>Experience with corporate advertising\/campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional knowledge of digital marketing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV in PDF format to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitments@istrategytech.com\"><strong>recruitments@istrategytech.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0The subject of the mail should be &#8220;New Media Officer &#8211; Abuja&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>20th April, 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Infostrategy Technology Limited is an Information, Communication and Software Technology firm incorporated in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
