We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Medical Doctor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Enugu<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose \/ Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To diagnose, treat and help prevent diseases and injuries that commonly occur in the general population and provide advice to Company staff and other eligible customers in the area of General\/Family medicine in order to ensure the health of staff and other stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undertaking patient consultations and physical examinations<\/li>\n<li>Organising workloads<\/li>\n<li>Performing surgical procedures<\/li>\n<li>Plan, implement or administer health programs and illness prevention activities to ensure that stakeholders adopt healthy lifestyle and prevent disease.<\/li>\n<li>Develop policies\/guidelines and management protocols for the promotion of best practice in primary healthcare in Company<\/li>\n<li>Support HSE activities in the department so as to embed a preventive culture among staff<\/li>\n<li>Participate in operative Obstetric and Gynecologic and general surgery procedures when indicated in order to ensure quick return to health by all beneficiaries.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate regular health management audits in liaison with the quality management team so as to maintain standard of healthcare<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the proper monitoring and reporting of health performance indices for review and for learning.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in prompt emergency medical response in order to render care and prevent disease and injury.<\/li>\n<li>Providing general pre- and post-operative care<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and administering medication<\/li>\n<li>Assessing and planning treatment requirements<\/li>\n<li>Liaising daily with staff including other doctors, non-medical management staff and healthcare professionals<\/li>\n<li>Writing reports and maintaining records<\/li>\n<li>Promoting health education<\/li>\n<li>Provide prompt in-patient and out-patient care including diagnosis and treatment for various diseases and injuries in General Practice in order to secure the health of staff, dependants and other eligible customers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Indicators:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>% Customer Satisfaction Rate<\/li>\n<li>No of awareness programmes versus Plan<\/li>\n<li>No of HSE Walkabout done versus plan<\/li>\n<li>% compliance with legislative requirements<\/li>\n<li>% of Post \u2013 op patients with surgical complications<\/li>\n<li>No of audits carried out versus plan<\/li>\n<li>No of Performance Monitoring and Reporting (PMR) generated on time<\/li>\n<li>Response time to Medical Emergencies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nEducation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be a Christian, and possess godly Christian core values<\/li>\n<li>MBBS with a Postgraduate fellowship in Family Medicine\/Specialist General Medical Practice (FWACP, FNCP, FRCGP or equivalent) registered with Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of Microsoft office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 5 years since MBBS with at least 2 years in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology or Specialist General Practice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competency Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nKnowledge Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clinical Medicine<\/li>\n<li>Counseling<\/li>\n<li>Medical Protocols Advanced Communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Emergency Medical Care<\/li>\n<li>Problem Solving<\/li>\n<li>Service Planning<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshooting<\/li>\n<li>Client Education<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Life Support.<\/li>\n<li>Medical Legal Issues<\/li>\n<li>Clinical Diagnostic Skills.<\/li>\n<li>Medical Ethics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Reporting Relationships<\/strong><br \/>\nFunctionally reports to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chief Medical Director (CMD)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Administratively reports to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hospital Administrator\/Manager (HAM)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Supervises:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nurses and cleaning staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Working Relationships<\/strong><br \/>\nInternal:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Staff and Dependants.<\/li>\n<li>Hospital Staff.<\/li>\n<li>Eligible Contractors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>External:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nigerian Medical and Dental Council<\/li>\n<li>Ministry of Health Enugu<\/li>\n<li>Ministry of Environment Enugu<\/li>\n<li>Enugu State Internal Revenue Service<\/li>\n<li>Enugu State Waste Management Authority(ESWAMA)<\/li>\n<li>Any other government agency or regulator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Work Hours<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hours of duty shall be in compliance with medical operations within the hospital.
