We are recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Pediatrician<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct regular thorough examinations on new-borns and young children to check and record their health and normal physical development<\/li>\n<li>Examine sick children to determine their condition and ask intuitive questions to gather information about symptoms<\/li>\n<li>Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and individual medical history<\/li>\n<li>Prescribe medications and give detailed instructions for administration<\/li>\n<li>Prescribe and interpret appropriate lab tests to gain more information for possible infections or abnormalities<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and administer vaccines according to the governmental vaccination plan<\/li>\n<li>Examine and treat injuries and refer the little patients to physicians of other disciplines when necessary (e.g. surgeons, ophthalmologists, orthopaedists etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Advise parents on children\u0422s diet, exercise and disease preventive measures<\/li>\n<li>Keep updated records of patients\u0422 illnesses, surgeries or other medical episodes (allergic shocks, injuries etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Keep abreast of advancements in paediatrics and best practices by attending seminars and conferences<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical Degree with specialization in paediatrics<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 8 years experience as a paediatrician<\/li>\n<li>In depth knowledge of children epidemiology and infectious diseases<\/li>\n<li>Exquisite knowledge of diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation principles and techniques<\/li>\n<li>Up to speed knowledge of drugs\/medication appropriate for children and their side-effects<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communications skills<\/li>\n<li>Valid license to practice medicine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:cv@ascentech.com.ng\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>cv@ascentech.com.ng<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the &#8220;Job Title&#8221; as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>12th May, 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ascentech Services Limited is a full-fledged Human Resource Solution Provider incorporated in 2013 with its Head Office in Lagos, Nigeria.
