We are recrduiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Store Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results<\/li>\n<li>Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees<\/li>\n<li>Maintain store staff job results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results<\/li>\n<li>Prepare annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiate corrective actions<\/li>\n<li>Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements<\/li>\n<li>Determine marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records<\/li>\n<li>Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies<\/li>\n<li>Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed<\/li>\n<li>Maintain inventory by implementing purchasing plans and staying in contact with vendors and shippers<\/li>\n<li>Develop a schedule of holiday activities and promotions throughout the year strategically designed to bring in more revenue<\/li>\n<li>Provide training to improve the knowledge base of the staff and utilize cross-training methods to maintain productivity when employees are absent<\/li>\n<li>Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements<\/li>\n<li>Ensure availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts; maintaining inventories<\/li>\n<li>Formulate pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining additional needed sales promotion; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends<\/li>\n<li>Market merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion and display plans; analyzing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios<\/li>\n<li>Secure merchandise by implementing security systems and measures<\/li>\n<li>Work with vendors and manufacturers to bring in effective marketing displays for the sales floor and store windows<\/li>\n<li>Manage all controllable costs to keep operations profitable<\/li>\n<li>Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control<\/li>\n<li>Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales<\/li>\n<li>Organize special promotions, displays and events<\/li>\n<li>Update colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues<\/li>\n<li>Tour the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers to identify or resolve urgent issues<\/li>\n<li>Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing<\/li>\n<li>Initiate changes to improve the business, e.g. revising opening hours to ensure the store can compete effectively in the local market<\/li>\n<li>Promote the organization locally by liaising with local schools, newspapers and the community in general<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and interpret trends to facilitate planning<\/li>\n<li>Deal with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organizing training and development<\/li>\n<li>Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met<\/li>\n<li>Respond to customer complaints and comments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of BSc degree with Minimum of 4 years post NYSC Working experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:imagelinkswestafrica01@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>imagelinkswestafrica01@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using \u201cJob Title\u201d as the subject of the email<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>15th May, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Imagelinks West Africa is a pioneer in technology that touches millions of lives every day.
