We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Senior Executive Assistant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reports directly to the CEO<\/li>\n<li>Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO<\/li>\n<li>Managing an extremely active calendar of appointments<\/li>\n<li>Composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential<\/li>\n<li>Arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Plans, coordinates and ensures the CEO\u2019s schedule is followed and respected.<\/li>\n<li>Works closely and effectively with the CEO to keep her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.<\/li>\n<li>Acts as a \u201cbarometer,\u201d having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the CEO updated.<\/li>\n<li>Provides leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization, and manages a variety of special projects for the CEO, some of which may have organizational impact.<\/li>\n<li>Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the CEO\u2019s ability to effectively lead the company.<\/li>\n<li>Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.<\/li>\n<li>Provides \u201cgatekeeper\u201d and \u201cgateway\u201d role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the CEO\u2019s time and office.<\/li>\n<li>Communicates directly, and on behalf of the CEO, with Board members, staff, and others, on matters related to CEO\u2019s initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.<\/li>\n<li>Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.<\/li>\n<li>Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO\u2019s office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of Bachelor\u2019s Degree is required<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience supporting Executives.<\/li>\n<li>Must possess strong presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>The ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion<\/li>\n<li>Strong ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)<\/li>\n<li>The ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations<\/li>\n<li>The ability to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication<\/li>\n<li>Administrative, and organizational skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Resumes to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@hcdclimited.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">recruitment@hcdclimited.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0with \u201cOpening for Senior Executive Assistant\u201d as the subject matter of the email<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>25th May, 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Human Capacity Development Consultants (HCDC) Limited is a vibrant and innovative company committed to the goal of developing human capital in organisations for exceptional business results.
