We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Medical Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Abuja<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undertaking patient consultations and physical examinations<\/li>\n<li>Organising workloads<\/li>\n<li>Performing surgical procedures<\/li>\n<li>Providing general pre- and post-operative care<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and administering medication<\/li>\n<li>Assessing and planning treatment requirements<\/li>\n<li>Liaising daily with staff including other doctors, non-medical management staff and healthcare professionals<\/li>\n<li>Writing reports and maintaining records<\/li>\n<li>Promoting health education<\/li>\n<li>Managing a department<\/li>\n<li>Keeping GPs informed about the care of their patients<\/li>\n<li>Teaching and supervising trainee doctors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 3 years Post NYSC experience.<\/li>\n<li>Required Qualification: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from a recognised university with relevant professional liscence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work long hours, often under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Good practical skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to solve problems<\/li>\n<li>Effective decision-making skills<\/li>\n<li>Leadership and management skills<\/li>\n<li>Communication skills, compassion and a good bedside manner<\/li>\n<li>Drive to continue learning throughout career<\/li>\n<li>Analytical ability<\/li>\n<li>Time management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV only including Reference from a previous or current employer to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:career@dedahospital.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>career@dedahospital.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the \u201cJob title\u201d as subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>21st May, 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Position to be filled immediately<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DEDA\u00a0Hospital is a leading Nigerian healthcare provision facility with a history of successful health outcomes for our clients.
