We are recruiting to fill the positions below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Registrar<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Iwo, Osun<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Position of the Registrar<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Registrar is a Principal Officer and the Chief Administrative Officer of the University.<\/li>\n<li>S \/ he is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration of the University except as otherwise stated by the University Charter.<\/li>\n<li>The Registrar is also the Secretary to Council, Senate, Congregation and Convocation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Candidate<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The person covering for the position of Registrar shall meet the following criteria:<\/li>\n<li>A Christian (preferably of Baptist denomination) who is visionary and innovative, with exemplary leadership and good communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>He \/ she must be digitally compliant, up-to-date in the use of information and communication technology and knowledgeable in automation of Registry operations.<\/li>\n<li>He \/ she must be in excellent physical and mental health, and be between 45 and 55 years of age as of the time of assumption of duty.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A good honours degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division from a recognized university.<\/li>\n<li>He\/she must have not less than fifteen (15) years of relevant post-graduation experience in university administration or similar institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary and Conditions of Service<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The appointment shall be for a single term of five (5) years.<\/li>\n<li>Bowen University runs a unique remuneration package, which is similar to what obtains in other tertiary institutions in Nigeria.<\/li>\n<li>Fringe benefits include furnished accommodation, an official vehicle and driver and other benefits as approved by the Governing Council.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Bursar<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Iwo, Osun<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Position of the Bursar<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Bursar is the Chief Financial Officer of the University and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration and control of the financial affairs of the University.<\/li>\n<li>He \/ she shall also, from time- to-time, provide expert advice on issues of investment to generate revenue as well as disbursement of funds.<\/li>\n<li>He\/she will perform oversight functions over the University\u2019s Commercial Services.<\/li>\n<li>The Bursar shall oversee all financial, accounting, reporting, resource mobilization, fund raising, sponsorship, grants, subventions, endorsement drives, revenue generation activities, tax and insurance functions of the University.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Candidate, Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><br \/>\nThe candidate for the post of Bursar must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a Christian (Preferably of Baptist Denomination)<\/li>\n<li>Possess a good University degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related discipline from a recognized institution.<\/li>\n<li>Be a registered member or Fellow of any of the following Professional Bodies: ICAN, ICMA, CPA, ACCA etc.<\/li>\n<li>Be ICT compliant and conversant with current trends in financial reporting \u2013 IFRS, IPSAS.<\/li>\n<li>Have proven knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office Package especially Microsoft Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Be between the ages of 45 and 55 years as of the time of assumption of duty.<\/li>\n<li>Have not less than twelve (12) years of relevant post qualification experience in University Administration or similar \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Osun<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Position<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The University Librarian shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for she overall administration of the University Library and its branches providing Library and information services for the entire University community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The University Librarian is the academic and professional Head of the University Library and is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration and management of the University Library and its branches.<\/li>\n<li>By the virtue of his\/her position, the University Librarian is a Principal Officer of the University.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Candidate<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Christian (preferably of Baptist denomination) who is visionary, innovative, of high integrity with excellent interpersonal communication.<\/li>\n<li>He\/she must be able to instill confidence in others and command the loyalty and respect of people, especially the library staff and users.<\/li>\n<li>He\/she must fully understand the complexity of the University System and must be able to effectively utilize its human resource to develop a library system that will fully support the aspirations of the University to attain world class status.
