{"id":86998,"date":"2020-05-25T10:59:31","date_gmt":"2020-05-25T09:59:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=86998"},"modified":"2020-05-24T23:58:29","modified_gmt":"2020-05-24T22:58:29","slug":"mecer-consulting-limited-current-employment-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/mecer-consulting-limited-current-employment-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Mecer Consulting Limited Current Employment Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mecer Consulting Limited \u2013 Our client, a foremost model and technical school located in Benin, wishes to recruit suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Head of School<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Benin, Edo<br \/>\n<strong>Code:<\/strong> HOS<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Head and manage the school<\/li>\n<li>Controls and make positive decisions for the school<\/li>\n<li>Consult the Director for possible changes<\/li>\n<li>Handling grievance procedures for staff except where a grievance is against the Head of School, in which case the Director is responsible.<\/li>\n<li>Managing relevant disciplinary procedures for both staff and students. Teaching, Learning and Research<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality teaching and the maintenance of academic standards.<\/li>\n<li>Promoting a culture of learning that is directed to student needs, and of teaching that is informed by the research interests of the School\u2019s staff.<\/li>\n<li>Dealing with professional matters were relevant to the activities of disciplines and in particular, the educational requirements of professional accreditation bodies.<\/li>\n<li>Fostering the development of academic policy and initiatives within the context of the long-term strategies of the School.<\/li>\n<li>Able to introduce new innovation to the school system<\/li>\n<li>Develop strategic management in running the affairs of the school<\/li>\n<li>Creating a supportive working environment for all staff in the School and fostering their career development.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that staff review and development is completed in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Allocating duties to staff within the School and the management of staff in accordance with school policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/ Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of Master\u2019s Degree in Education or other related subject areas with 15 years teaching experience and at least 5 years as a Head of School.<\/li>\n<li>Determination to maintain excellent standards<\/li>\n<li>Robust approach to systems<\/li>\n<li>Ability to pioneer<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to engage with and serve the whole system<\/li>\n<li>The successful candidate must be a team player, who can motivate and inspire all key stakeholders.
