{"id":87573,"date":"2020-06-09T12:00:41","date_gmt":"2020-06-09T11:00:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=87573"},"modified":"2020-06-09T21:57:38","modified_gmt":"2020-06-09T20:57:38","slug":"vision-consult-ongoing-recruitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/vision-consult-ongoing-recruitment.html","title":{"rendered":"My Vision Consult Current Employment Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My Vision Consult &#8211; Our client, a frontline player involved in importation and sale of frozen foods and other products, is currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Legal Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Benin, Edo State<br \/>\n<strong>Department<\/strong>: Legal Department<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to<\/strong>: Managing Director<br \/>\n<strong>Grade<\/strong>: Middle level<br \/>\n<strong>Job Expectation Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Legal Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to ensuring and advising the board of directors on compliance to all corporate governance and other legal matters as well as negotiating contracts between the company and third parties.<\/li>\n<li>The job holder is expected to hand in hand with the company secretary and the Board of directors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nHe\/she will be expected to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advising the board of directors on their legal and corporate governance responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring compliance to corporate governance and other legal matters.<\/li>\n<li>Interpretation and analysis of laws and regulations relating to companies.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating contract arrangement between the company and third parties.<\/li>\n<li>Review of third-party contracts where the company has committed itself.<\/li>\n<li>Drafting legal documents for the company.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting searches, due diligence and filing of all necessary documents with the corporate affairs commission within the stipulated timeline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To manage the company\u2019s owned properties as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drafting and lease agreements.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that all tenants pay their rent as at when due.<\/li>\n<li>To serve all the required statutory notices to quit on erring or defaulting tenants<\/li>\n<li>Supervise construction or remodeling<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining all statutory books of the company.<\/li>\n<li>Organizing the company\u2019s board and taking minutes of meeting during board meetings and preparing board resolution.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring compliance with all documentation required by regulatory bodies and corporate organizations for specific transactions as may be referred to him\/her.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of legal opinions on legal issues pertaining to internal and external activities of the company.
