{"id":87600,"date":"2020-06-09T16:21:34","date_gmt":"2020-06-09T15:21:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=87600"},"modified":"2020-06-09T21:43:48","modified_gmt":"2020-06-09T20:43:48","slug":"gti-microfinance-bank-limited-ongoing-recruitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/gti-microfinance-bank-limited-ongoing-recruitment.html","title":{"rendered":"GTI Microfinance Bank Limited Job Vacancy [3 Positions]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>GTI Microfinance Bank Limited is a leading Nigerian Investment Banking group with proven expertise in Financial Advisory, Securities Dealing (Fixed Income and Equities), Asset Management and Private Equity\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>We have strong capacity in financial services delivery.\u00a0We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong> Job Title:\u00a0Recovery \/ Loan Verification Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To reduce substantially bank PAR through daily loan monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring of the bank loan portfolio at risk from appraisal level to full recovery<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the Bank Police Officer to follow up with the cases of banks\u2019 defaulters, as to collect any money been paid to them very quickly<\/li>\n<li>Give a daily report of activities\/movement to management.<\/li>\n<li>Weekly review of the bank Portfolio at risk at the credit management meeting every Thursday<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring close contact with loan officers on their default clients, provide support for them in the area of joint visit for recovery, calls and letters to some of the defaulters as the need arises<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidate must have atleast 3-5years Microfinance Bank experience in Loan Recovery Department.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of BSc\u00a0or HND .MCIBN certification will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Head, Internal Control<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance on report rendition to regulatory bodies Monthly .<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance to the bank rules, policies, and regulations daily .<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation of correspondent bank accounts to ensure transactions are not outstanding beyond 2 weeks and bringing the exercise up to date monthly .<\/li>\n<li>Review of the statutory returns to regulatory authorities and government agencies to ensure accuracy and timely rendition monthly .<\/li>\n<li>Customers\u2019 visitation for random deposit verification weekly<\/li>\n<li>Review the accuracy and reliability of financial transaction records \u2013 cash deposits, cash withdrawals, treasury bills investments, fixed deposits, and funds transfer daily.<\/li>\n<li>Engage in loan recovery and reconcile customers\u2019 loan accounts for closure when need arises .<\/li>\n<li>Involve in the thorough review of the bank\u2019s accounting software for efficiency daily.<\/li>\n<li>Review credit or loan files for compliance daily .<\/li>\n<li>Review accounting records to ensure proper and compliance with company\u2019s extant policies daily.<\/li>\n<li>Review and recommend changes to some of the company\u2019s policies to ensure adequate control daily.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct cash-counts of vaults daily.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewed customers\u2019 account opening documents for compliance with Know Your Customer (\u201cKYC\u201d) policy and anti-money laundering requirements daily .<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with the bank\u2019s policies and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly General Ledger (GL) review for reconciliation.<\/li>\n<li>Handle customer complaints (Fraud, disservice, etc). When need arises<\/li>\n<li>Review expenses &amp; payments.
