\nJob description Lead Process Engineer
\nThe responsibilities of Lead Process Engineer include but are not limited to the following,<\/p>\n

To act as a focal point\/technical authority for process engineering questions throughout all phases of engineering design, construction and offshore installation, commissioning and operation
\nProvide engineering calculations for piping and crude oil separation systems including line sizing, vessel sizing, hydraulic studies, duty requirements, retention and settlement times, etc.
\nTo provide process engineering input to other disciplines to assure that design outputs are consistent.
\nTo act as Company authority for the review of Design Bases, design drawings, specifications, etc.
\nTo act as required as the Company representative (process) to ensure that design work by contractors meets Company standards and relevant industry codes
\nTo monitor the performance of design contractors and suggest remedial actions related to process design.
\nTo assist Company resident and\/or project engineers with the process engineering aspects of Facilities design.
\nTo initiate and coordinate tasks needed for project execution
\nTo participate in HAZOP\u2019s and other key design reviews.
\nTo assist in the development Nigerian process engineers
\nZero LTIs
\nOn time delivery of work-scope<\/p>\n

Requirements Lead Process Engineer<\/strong>
\nLead Process Engineer will have University Engineering Degree (Process, Chemical) \u2013 2nd Class Honours.
\nMinimum ten (10) years relevant experience with an oil industry design and\/or fabrication contractor
\nMinimum ten (10) years as a process engineer\/senior process engineer for an Operator and have been involved in both onshore and offshore projects
\nMust be used to working in a multi-discipline environment
\nMust have worked in an expatriate situation for at least five (5) years
\nGood understanding of project management controls and procedures.
\nAbility to work under pressure against tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of consistency and accuracy.
\nSolid working knowledge of relevant oil and gas industry engineering codes and standards.
\nHave thorough knowledge of the design of onshore and offshore oil production facilities
\nHave the ability to utilise common process design and simulation software for systems design and analysis
\nTo provide input to Front End\/Conceptual Engineering studies with respect to process aspects of design
\nSound understanding of HSES management systems and the application thereof, particularly with respect to design integrity and safety.
\nAbility to manage interfaces both internally and externally with contractors
\nApt reporting skills with the ability to write well structured and easily understood reports
\nAble to prepare and deliver effectively presentations for information dissemination both internally to management and externally to 3rd parties
\nFluent spoken and written English.
\nStrong interpersonal skills, able to deal with a broad spectrum of cultural and organisational styles
\nBasic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Project, Lotus Notes, PowerPoint)<\/p>\n
