{"id":88194,"date":"2020-06-16T19:22:18","date_gmt":"2020-06-16T18:22:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=88194"},"modified":"2020-06-17T23:43:42","modified_gmt":"2020-06-17T22:43:42","slug":"corona-schools-trust-council-ongoing-job-recruitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/corona-schools-trust-council-ongoing-job-recruitment.html","title":{"rendered":"Corona Schools Trust Council Ongoing Job Recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Corona Schools Trust Council &#8211; The focus of the Corona Schools&#8217; Trust Council is the development of world-class schools.\u00a0 World class in all facets of our operations &#8211; curriculum, teaching methodologies, staff quality, libraries, technology, buildings, resources, facilities, management and so on.<\/p>\n<p>In order to sustain our\u00a0 mission to deliver world- class education to children inculcate high moral and ethical values as we prepare them for a life of service and fulfilment, we have embarked on a number of school improvement initiatives in recent years.We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: I.T Administrator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The primary role of IT Administrators is to oversee and maintain all aspects of Corona Schools location&#8217;s computer infrastructure. This includes maintaining networks, servers and security programmes and systems.<\/li>\n<li>The I.T Administrator will manage the upgrade and installation of new hardware and software, perform troubleshooting to address problems with computer systems, and assess viruses and potential threats to a Corona&#8217;s network.<\/li>\n<li>He\/she may also monitor the use of emails, create and change passwords, make suggestions for improvements to computer systems, backup data and perform data recovery if needed.<\/li>\n<li>His\/her duties will include network management, software development and database administration. He also provides technical support to all staff and students and trains non-technical workers on information systems if the need arises.<\/li>\n<li>He\/she will also work with external partners, including consultants, agencies and vendors, to arrive at the most appropriate system or integration of multiple systems; staying up-to-date on emerging technologies and the potential effectiveness of these advancements especially within the Education sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Guides new development tools and interface design; assists in assessing and selecting new materials, including educational software<\/li>\n<li>Present sessions on emerging technologies to various departments and students<\/li>\n<li>Provides training to faculty and staff in the use of Moodle as the Learning Management System, Learn course design as well as other professional development sessions<\/li>\n<li>Schedule and manage online exam support using the Moodle Learning Management System<\/li>\n<li>Acts as the main point of contact for administration support issues in the use of educational technology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirement<\/strong><br \/>\nAcademic Qualification<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Information Technology or any Science related course, A Microsoft Certified Professional certificate and a certificate in networking preferably Cisco.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in educational technology, preferably at a tertiary institution<\/li>\n<li>Strong ability to collaborate and influence<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of corporate communications, strategic planning, research and project management<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to oversee the preparation of a wide range of written documentation, communications and agreements<\/li>\n<li>A high degree of computer literacy and demonstrated ability to generate, analyse and interpret complex documents from various sources<\/li>\n<li>Current knowledge of higher education practices, trends and issues<\/li>\n<li>Superior interpersonal skills as demonstrated by the ability to form professional relationships at all levels within the College and with appropriate external stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Highly developed organizational, communication and presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in written and spoken English is essential<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their Application with updated CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:careers@coronaschools.org\" target=\"_blank\">careers@coronaschools.org<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Position as the subject.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>30th June, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Corona Schools Trust Council &#8211; The focus of the Corona Schools&#8217; Trust Council is the development of world-class schools.\u00a0 World class in all facets of our operations &#8211; curriculum, teaching&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[4,37,1],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
