Brunel Energy Nigeria Recruits <strong>Piping Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Supervise and control the good quality of the piping engineering documents \u2022 Carry out various Oil &amp; Gas production facilities engineering studies \u2022 Carry out studies \u2022 Perform piping equipment sizing and specification in accordance with regulatory standards. \u2022 Issue specifications for materials procurement according to international standards \u2022 Work location based in Lagos with periodic site visits offshore. Major client is Production. \u2022 Constraints: Mistakes and delays in design could lead to costly delays in procurement, construction and production which could have serious negative impact on Company Asset. \u2022 Favourable Factors: Work in a friendly atmosphere to acquire wide range of process experience. Numerous contacts with process and other discipline experts in France, project managers, Piping people, HSE. \u2022 Favorable environment to gain process knowledge during Service execution. Supervise and control the good quality of the piping engineering documents Carry out various Oil &amp; Gas production facilities engineering studies Carry out studies Perform piping equipment sizing and specification in accordance with regulatory standards. Issue specifications for materials procurement according to international standards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Organisation<br \/>\nJob description<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Carry out piping engineering studies \/ design in-house.<br \/>\n\u2022 Prepares data sheets, MTO for flow lines &amp; production facilities.<br \/>\n\u2022 Draw up piping material class, specifications for material requests to Procurement.<br \/>\n\u2022 Read and interpret facility engineering drawings, designs and make necessary modifications or recommendations.<br \/>\n\u2022 Draw up and cross-check relevant procedures, international standards and technical specifications for studies<br \/>\n\u2022 Follow-up Purchase Orders to ensure timely approval.<br \/>\n\u2022 Control the quality of the deliverables received from third parties.<br \/>\n\u2022 To check that the design is developed in line with the Pre-Project and the statement of requirements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job requirements<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Relevant University Degree in piping engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience in Oil &amp; Gas production facilities.<br \/>\n\u2022 Knowledge of International standards and regulations<br \/>\n\u2022 Team work, Technical rigor, Communication, organizational skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to use Office Packages and AutoCAD especially with experience in project specifications is an added advantage<\/p>\n<p>Local candidates required<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.brunelenergy.net\/post-resume?iVacancyID=34934\">Click here to view Job and Apply Online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Brunel Energy provides specialist personnel to the international oil &amp; gas, petrochemical, power generation and construction industries.
