We are recruiting to fill the vacant positions below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Product Solutions Lead<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos, Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reporting directly to the SSA Head of Products and Key Account Manager, this individual is a key member of the regional Product and Solutions team serving West Africa.<\/li>\n<li>A key \u2018face of the Product and Solutions team managing, building and developing Key account portfolios, the individual also helps define and execute the operations of all Key Account products initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>This individual also reports to the Country Manager for West Africa and is a key partner in local solution development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Scope:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Anglophone West Africa, based in Lagos, Nigeria<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Product Leadership For Products and Solutions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engage Client(s) , in collaboration with Visa Business Development (BD) team and other key stakeholders, to understand Product requirements and provide appropriate Visa solutions<\/li>\n<li>Drive Product and strategic initiatives with Client(s), in collaboration with BD, Marketing and other cross-functional teams<\/li>\n<li>Pro-actively identify opportunities for growth, improvement or co-created solutions with client<\/li>\n<li>Provide Product input to new business opportunities and formal proposals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Develop And Manage Products and Product Platforms:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the introduction, communication and implementation of product and service releases, new products and enhancements of services<\/li>\n<li>Work with cross-functional stakeholders and client to understand local requirements, adapt products as required and manage programs to establish and grow new product solutions<\/li>\n<li>In cases where localized products, benefits or platforms are required, take end-to-end accountability to develop and launch such capabilities, including project and vendor management and cross-functional collaboration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Client Leadership:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be the face of Visa for client and partners looking to co-innovate with Visa<\/li>\n<li>Support Sub Saharan Africa solutions and BD teams as an innovation subject matter expert.<\/li>\n<li>Develop robust, proactive pipeline of tangible collaboration\/prototyping projects with clients\/partners that will drive c-level sponsorship and engagement<\/li>\n<li>Build trusted advisor relationships with key client and partners in the industry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Engagement Leadership:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Structure, support and lead client Discovery and Ideation Sessions:<\/li>\n<li>Discussing major industry and technology trends and payment innovations<\/li>\n<li>Understanding client\u2019s needs, pain points and priorities and be able to link trends and innovations directly to client strategy<\/li>\n<li>Identifying payment innovation opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Driving positive outcomes and concrete next steps<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Co-creations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead a team that defines and delivers on Visa Sub Saharan Africa\u2019s co-creation agenda and engagements with client<\/li>\n<li>Deliver against co-creation engagements committed in client\u2019s contract<\/li>\n<li>Use best in class design thinking and agile methods to Discover, Design, Develop and Deploy new innovations<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate and be held accountable for actual client impact, client satisfaction, and implementation results post co-creations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Internal Solution Development:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner the local solutions team to develop local solutions for the Client<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Planning, Reporting, Financial Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with Marketing &amp; Comms teams to showcase the Visa Sub Saharan Africa Products and Solutions story and activities to the client<\/li>\n<li>Build a programmatic marketing \/ comms plan working with internal stakeholders and client<\/li>\n<li>Lead high-quality campaigns to showcase Visa\u2019s products<\/li>\n<li>Support the P&amp;L management, financial planning with Client to ensure that Visa Products remain on top of Clients\u2019 product offering.<\/li>\n<li>Play a key role in building annual operating plan, multi- year plan with the client<\/li>\n<li>Work with SSA, Head of Products and Finance Business Partner to ensure that revenues is maximized<\/li>\n<li>Help build business models and cases for growth with Client<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Thought Leadership and Evangelism:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proactively build and curate content on emerging innovation themes to present to Client<\/li>\n<li>Build client engagement content (e.g., use case of a new technology in payment), based on desk research and interviews with Visa\u2019s experts, and engagement material across various media formats (e.g., presentation, talking points, demos, videos)<\/li>\n<li>Actively evangelize Visa\u2019s Products and Solutions and priorities with Client<\/li>\n<li>Educate Client on latest innovations and Visa solutions through memos, frequent brown bags and other ways to engage Client<\/li>\n<li>Build a vision for how to showcase innovative experiences to Client. This is an individual contributor role reporting into CEMEA Visa Direct Readiness Lead.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Defining implementation plan and executing them for the initial pilot clients<\/li>\n<li>Defining transition plan to migrate support to wider Client Services teams with a focus on operational efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Develop artifacts, training materials and presentations for the Client Services team<\/li>\n<li>Execute Visa Direct initiatives that may impact clients from a business operations perspective including changes to current products, implementations of new products and the business and digital release cycle<\/li>\n<li>Become Visa Direct subject matter in Client Services including knowledge of the APIs, implementation guides, client integration options, deployment and post-production support<\/li>\n<li>Use technical expertise blended with business acumen to solve complex problems by analyzing transaction level detail, API field data, and leveraging Visa tools<\/li>\n<li>Embrace and implement new methodologies on an ongoing basis as the business scales within the organization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree with at least 8 years of experience in product\/project management or product development in the payments industry<\/li>\n<li>Functional Project management experience in a client-facing role<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of digital payments and web-based technology including HTML, web- based service APIs, JSON, XML<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of core transaction processing (message routing, authorization, clearing &amp; settlement)<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical aptitude with the ability to absorb technical information and apply to business solutions where little or no precedence exists. Be able to communicate complex, technical concepts in a focused and well-organized manner.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment and be flexible with multi-tasking and changing priorities.
