We are recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Store Keeper<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Calabar, Cross River<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type: <\/strong>Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking to engage the services of a Store Keeper who is organized and detail-oriented, to manage all of the operations in our storeroom.<\/li>\n<li>In this position, you\u2019ll play a key role in the proper care and maintenance of our stock, including ordering, receiving, and managing inventory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Functions of the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversees and administers the operations of the store. Receives identifies and verifies merchandise. Provides information to and assists other employees.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains inventory. Uses inventory management software. Prepares purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains files appropriate to the activities of the unit, such as invoices, order number, receiving date, shipping date, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares inventory reports.<\/li>\n<li>Verifies ledgers, statements and supporting documents.<\/li>\n<li>Handles and stores merchandise or special products that require some knowledge of spontaneous combustion, toxicity, fragility, rapid deterioration, contamination, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Receive, unload, and shelve supplies<\/li>\n<li>Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies<\/li>\n<li>Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report to accounts for reimbursements and record-keeping<\/li>\n<li>Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs<\/li>\n<li>According to requirements and established procedures, arranges stock. In case of emergency or in order to replace outdated products, suggests substitutes available in the store.<\/li>\n<li>Oversees the delivery of merchandise following an established schedule and coordinates special deliveries by transmitting the necessary details to the persons concerned.<\/li>\n<li>Keep records of items shipped, received, or transferred to another location<\/li>\n<li>Update procurement team on status of stock to avoid stock-out<\/li>\n<li>Maintains equipment and instruments.<\/li>\n<li>Monitors diesel supply to trucks and prepares weekly diesel supply report<\/li>\n<li>Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties as may be assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Educational Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Min of HND \/B.Sc in relevant field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Min of 2 years of experience working as a Store Keeper or similar role<\/li>\n<li>Experience in \u0430the transport\/logistics industry is an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Must be located in Calabar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management<\/li>\n<li>Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time<\/li>\n<li>Skills to operate common office equipment<\/li>\n<li>2+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<li>Physical ability to frequently heavy materials<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment<\/li>\n<li>Analytical mind with the ability to make accurate mathematical computations<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@whitesoulmotors.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>recruitment@whitesoulmotors.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the \u201cJob Title\u201d as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>1st July, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>White Soul Motors Limited, incorporated in 1996 is a leading importer, distributor and marketer of various brands of brand new and very clean foreign used vehicles.
