We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Community Liaison Office Assistant (CLO Assistant) \u2013 Employees of Mission<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Announcement Number:<\/strong> Abuja-2019-060RA<br \/>\n<strong>Hiring Agency:<\/strong> Embassy Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Series\/Grade:<\/strong> FP \u2013 0101 7<br \/>\n<strong>Work Schedule:<\/strong> Full-time \u2013 40 hours per week<br \/>\n<strong>Promotion Potential:<\/strong>\u00a0 FP-7<br \/>\n<strong>Hiring Path:<\/strong> Open to the public<br \/>\n<strong>Appointment Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Security Clearance Required:<\/strong> Public Trust \u2013 Background Investigation<br \/>\n<strong>Appointment Type Details:<\/strong> Definite not to Exceed (5 years)<br \/>\n<strong>The work schedule for this position is:<\/strong> Full Time (40 hours per week)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Basic Function of the Position<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Community Liaison Office Coordinator serves all USG employees and family members stationed at Post.<\/li>\n<li>The Community Liaison Office Assistant (CLO Assistant) assists the CLO Coordinator in the development and management of post programs to maintain high morale of community members.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he identifies needs within the post community and responds with effective programming, information, resources and referrals.<\/li>\n<li>Additionally, s\/he works under the loose supervision of the CLO and interact independently with CLO clientele to develop CLO materials\/programs, and to generate ideas for CLO events. Top secret clearance is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Evaluations<\/strong><br \/>\nRequirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of secretarial and administrative experience is required.<\/li>\n<li>Job Knowledge: Knowledge of proper and efficient secretarial and office management procedures as practiced by the U.S. Mission Nigeria is required.<\/li>\n<li>Education Requirements: Completion of Secondary School or received high school diploma<\/li>\n<li>Evaluations: This may be tested.<\/li>\n<li>Language:Level IV (Fluent) Speaking\/Reading\/Writing in English is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Abilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, use of PC, and the ability to type 40 wpm is required. Effective communication and strong organizational skills is required.
