We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Production &amp; Regulatory Pharmacist<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Ibadan, Oyo<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Production and Regulatory Pharmacist (PRP) is tasked with the responsibility of managing the overall manufacturing operations in Saro Lifecare Pharmaceutical Plant along with ensuring total compliance with all regulatory bodies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nProduction Operations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic Production Planning, Implementation and control to deliver target business goals\/objectives of Operational Efficiency, Cost Management &amp; Profitability, Safety &amp; Product Quality.<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for the overall production operation management. Implements operational efficiency improvements, process optimisation, product quality, safety, production reliability excellence and maintenance, operator\u2019s best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating and maintaining the Plant\u2019s manufacturing capital management and capacity planning process.<\/li>\n<li>Material Planning to ensure 100% offshore and locally sourced raw materials, packaging materials timely availability.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the local &amp; offshore vendor management, material sourcing for competitive rates to achieve desired profitability goals.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the expansion of SLCs chemical &amp; packaging supplier base for options that deliver target objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Leads the delivery of 100% finished goods availability with buffer stock coverage to ensure zero stock out.<\/li>\n<li>Drive breakthrough practices to achieve standard OEE.<\/li>\n<li>Oversees efficient management of raw materials, packaging materials, factory supplies, and the production of finished goods to meet all financial objectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Health &amp; Safety:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for managing, maintaining and improving safety in the plant, ensures adherence to health &amp; safety guidelines to deliver zero accidents\/losses.<\/li>\n<li>Leads the development of Safety policies &amp; guidelines, Investigates potential threats for necessary Corrective and Preventive Action.<\/li>\n<li>Directs implementation, procurement and maintenance of Health and Safety Tools\/gadgets.<\/li>\n<li>Reduces and proactively avoids environmental impact and potential risk to the businesses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>OEE\/Asset Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manages and maintains all production assets and utilities for operational efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Drives periodic equipment maintenance in line with standard guidelines to eliminate operational downtime.<\/li>\n<li>Implements optimisation initiatives for optimum performance and efficiencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Regulatory:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintains a GMP audit ready production plant and operations.<\/li>\n<li>Drives the development of GMP culture for compliance of all production associates and operatives.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures compliance of product quality with all quality &amp; regulatory standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Cost Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manufacturing budget planning, implementation &amp; control.<\/li>\n<li>Elimination of wastages through efficient resource and process management.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures zero budget overrun.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Reporting:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides reports of functions on daily, weekly and periodic basis as may be needed by the Line Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personnel Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manages direct reports aligning deliverables with overall business strategic objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Build the Hypo culture in production associates.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures 100% compliance with SARO core values and guidelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications \/ Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of a second-class upper degree in Pharmacy from a reputable institution.<\/li>\n<li>Registered with the Pharmacist Council of Nigeria.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 7 years\u2019 experience in a similar role.<\/li>\n<li>Age: 28 \u2013 35 years old.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Special Skills \/ Key Behavioural Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work independently and deliver.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multitask, prioritize and resolve issues<\/li>\n<li>Accurate and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Goal-oriented organized team player.<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership and personnel development<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To\u00a0Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/saroafrica.com\/careers\/submit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>10th July, 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Saro Lifecare, a division of Saro Africa International operates in the Personal &amp;
