Apply Now!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ascentech Services Limited &#8211; Our client, a leading Payment Services company is recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Senior DevOPs Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are in need of a DevOps engineer that will support new and existing client projects while contributing towards ongoing product innovation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with support and development of infrastructure and security tools.<\/li>\n<li>Build and manage automated testing and validation for both software and system configuration.<\/li>\n<li>Build and manage automation pipelines for operational workflows.<\/li>\n<li>Build and manage automation inside configuration management tools.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with delivering highly secure and efficient solutions within comprehensive compliance regulations (including ISO27100, HIPAA, PCI DSS, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Assist in integrating diverse technologies in multiple environments to provide monitoring, alerting, and reporting of performance and costs.<\/li>\n<li>Manage work in an agile operations framework, balancing sprint-based work with daily operational needs.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in troubleshooting and resolving system outages or performance impact, and communicate findings for ongoing improvement<\/li>\n<li>Work directly with the development team to test system integrity<\/li>\n<li>Test implemented designs<\/li>\n<li>Consult with peers for feedback during testing stages<\/li>\n<li>Handle code deployments in all environments<\/li>\n<li>Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical guidance and educate team members and co-workers on development and operations<\/li>\n<li>Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery<\/li>\n<li>Build, maintain and monitor configuration standards<\/li>\n<li>Maintain day-to-day management and administration of projects<\/li>\n<li>Document and design various processes; update existing processes<\/li>\n<li>Improve infrastructure development and application development<\/li>\n<li>Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the company<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of bachelor&#8217;s degree\/ HND in Computer\/ System\/ Electrical\/ Electronic Engineering\/ Applied physics\/ Computer Science or a related discipline<\/li>\n<li>AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Relevant certification such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), Experience<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience as a DevOps engineer on AWS<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing code repositories, build orchestrations, using Github, Jenkins<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with AWS services such as API gateway, EKS, Cloudfornt Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka, AWS WAF, Database Migration service<\/li>\n<li>Experience designing, implementing, and monitoring log collection with tools such as Guard duty and CloudWatch<\/li>\n<li>Experience creating dashboards and configuring alerts with tools like CloudWatch, JIRA, and Slack<\/li>\n<li>Experience with tools like Zabbix, Prometheus, an ELK stack<\/li>\n<li>Experience with infrastructure as code tools like terraform, packer and AWS cloud Formation<\/li>\n<li>Proven scripting experience with experience in multiple scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, Bash, PHP, javascript, etc<\/li>\n<li>Experience with building deployment pipelines using Jenkins<\/li>\n<li>Must have experience with Linux infrastructures, database SQL(PostgreSQL and MySQL),<\/li>\n<li>Experience with configuration management tools such as chef, ansible, puppet<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:cv@ascentech.com.ng\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>cv@ascentech.com.ng<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the &#8220;Job Title&#8221;
