We are recruiting to fill the positions of:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Financial Controller<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Financial Controller will undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation.<\/li>\n<li>The Finance Controller responsibilities will also include tax management and administration, performance management, and act as a consultant for senior managers, conducting cost and revenues analyses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Management Accounting:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintains and enforces a documented system of accounting policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Manage outsourced functions<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including managing the organizational structure adequate for achieving the department\u2019s goals and objectives<\/li>\n<li>Oversee accounting operations of the company and its subsidiaries<\/li>\n<li>Create an organizational structure within the accounting department to facilitate the achievement of the department\u2019s short-term goals and long-term objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and mentor junior personnel in the accounting department.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Transaction:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the chart of accounts and manage GL for accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Management of tax- VAT, WHT, PAYE. Liaise with the company\u2019s tax consultant, auditor, and regulators for efficient tax management<\/li>\n<li>Advise and liaise with Operations on transaction postings to ensure that the correct GL are credited or debited<\/li>\n<li>Maintain an orderly accounting filing system<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Financial Reporting and Budgeting:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management account for management and regulators.<\/li>\n<li>Issue timely and complete financial statements.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of the company operations.<\/li>\n<li>Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts.<\/li>\n<li>Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.<\/li>\n<li>Provide for a system of management cost reports.<\/li>\n<li>Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that financial reports comply with current accounting principles and financial reporting standards.<\/li>\n<li>Publish complete and timely financial statements to company executives, shareholders, and the board.<\/li>\n<li>Account for any budget variances and report significant discrepancies to management.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend benchmarks for the measurement of company financial performance goals.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the filing of quarterly and annual reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compliance:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide regulatory reports to the compliance department for a rendition<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit<\/li>\n<li>Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants<\/li>\n<li>Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience &amp; Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of Second Class Degree in Accounting or Finance. Master\u2019s Degree is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Chartered Accountant (ACA\/ACCA) with a minimum of 6 years working experience in the finance sector- Commercial Bank, Merchant Bank, Finance House, or National Microfinance Bank.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with financial reporting requirements- IFRS and IAS<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience with the use of EasyBank Application<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of SEC and CBN policies on financial reporting<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience in liaising with Auditors<\/li>\n<li>Ability to pay keen attention to details.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and decision-making skills.<\/li>\n<li>Internal\/ External Contacts<\/li>\n<li>Internal Staff<\/li>\n<li>Clients<\/li>\n<li>Auditors (PWC)<\/li>\n<li>Regulators<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Competence Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards- IFRS and IAS<\/li>\n<li>Use of EasyBank Application<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytics and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Vast across accounting and finance spectrum- Financial, Management, Tax, Audit and financial investigation<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites Word, Excel, and Access.<\/li>\n<li>Able to work well in a team and on own initiative.<\/li>\n<li>Database Management<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Energetic and with sound decision-making skills<\/li>\n<li>Key Performance Indicator (KPI)<\/li>\n<li>Timely delivery of reports<\/li>\n<li>Adherence to agreed turn around time\/ SLA<\/li>\n<li>Timely delivery of the annual report<\/li>\n<li>Regulatory rating- Zero appetites for regulatory infractions<\/li>\n<li>Leadership<\/li>\n<li>Process Efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Customer Complain<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Brand Communications Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job description<\/strong><br \/>\nA Brand and Communications Personnel is responsible for managing all internal and external communications for the company ensuring its messages are consistent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing an integrated branding and communications strategy for the company incorporating PR, Marketing, and Online.<\/li>\n<li>Implementing communications plans to increase brand awareness and recognition for the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Developing relationships with key media outlets to secure and grow media coverage both online and offline.<\/li>\n<li>Writing press releases for local and national media.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to management and coordinate brand and product communications through the entire spectrums of the Print Media, Broadcast Media, Outdoor Media, and Internet Media<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable experience with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and CRM Software<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience implementing and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Solid knowledge of Business Intelligence and Web Analytics tools like Google Analytics, Woopra, etc. to measure site traffic and better optimize marketing campaigns<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms as well as display and search advertising<\/li>\n<li>Effective use of email marketing management platforms such as MailChimp, GetResponse, Constant Contact, Drip, SendInBlue<\/li>\n<li>Competent use of public relations management platforms such as Cision PRWeb<\/li>\n<li>Experience with technologies and best practices for web design, web production and creative designs across multiple platforms<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with online marketing tools and media technologies such as blogs, RSS, video, webcasts, Adobe Creative Suite<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and project management skills<\/li>\n<li>Collating and analyzing current communications and messages and ensuring consistency.<\/li>\n<li>Developing and leading the company\u2019s internal communication strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Initiating and Executing Internal and External events on behalf of the company<\/li>\n<li>Vendor Management and procurement of brand-related items.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 \u2013 6 years\u2019 relevant brand management experience with exposure to the Financial and Capital market sector.<\/li>\n<li>Masters and a relevant certificate in communications is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Strong passion and drive for excellence.
