We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Abuja<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage all accounting transactions<\/li>\n<li>Prepare budget forecasts<\/li>\n<li>Publish financial statements in time<\/li>\n<li>Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile accounts payable and receivable<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely bank payments<\/li>\n<li>Compute taxes and prepare tax returns<\/li>\n<li>Manage balance sheets and profit\/loss statements<\/li>\n<li>Report on the company\u2019s financial health and liquidity<\/li>\n<li>Audit financial transactions and documents<\/li>\n<li>Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary<\/li>\n<li>Comply with financial policies and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries<\/li>\n<li>Examining expenses submitted by employees<\/li>\n<li>Keeping an eye on incoming payments from accounts receivable and outgoing payments from accounts payable<\/li>\n<li>Creating company financial reports with the above information included<\/li>\n<li>Analyzing data collected in order to determine the state of the company\u2019s financial health<\/li>\n<li>Analyzing data to understand where the company is generating and losing revenue<\/li>\n<li>Examining the proficiency of the software programs used to organize data<\/li>\n<li>Generating financial reports that display the company\u2019s profits, equity and cash flow<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e. GAAP, FASB), rules, regulations, and systems of internal control<\/li>\n<li>Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information<\/li>\n<li>Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes<\/li>\n<li>Assist with and act as the primary point-of-contact for auditor requests<\/li>\n<li>Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First degree or equivalent education in Accounting.<\/li>\n<li>A certification is an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 1-2 years experience as an accountant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nN50,000 \/ month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:chukwurahbernice@baldonclothiers.com\">chukwurahbernice@baldonclothiers.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0with position as subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>18th July, 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Baldon Clothiers is the home of Premium Quality made-to-fit clothing for every occassion.
