Mife Construction is a multi-disciplinary  engineering contractor with a number of heavy civil engineering projects  throughout the country.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of expansion in the activities of this  company we now have an opening for a <strong>Technical\/Financial  Accountant<\/strong>; preferably the successful candidate must have worked in a  construction or engineering company<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review of resource inputs to each project and the completion certificates  generated on monthly basis to ascertain effective production<\/li>\n<li>Variance analysis of resource inputs and invoicing against budgeted amounts<\/li>\n<li>Periodic reports on profit and loss per project to management<\/li>\n<li>Review of internal control procedures in operation in the company and  recommend changes where necessary<\/li>\n<li>Reporting to Chief Accountant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experince:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Minimum of a second class lower division degree in Accounting or Business  Management and (or) Civil Engineering.
