As resource projects continue to grow in size and complexity, WorleyParsons is one of the few global companies with the resources, technical capabilities, and systems to meet these demands.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nReports to the Engineering Manager. Overall interdiscipline engineering management responsibility for offshore oil and gas project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>HSE, Commercial, Design, Quality and Risk Management.<br \/>\nTo maintain and review standard technical documentation for the group.<br \/>\nMonitor and review the activities of outside engineering consultants.<br \/>\nMaintain contact with client representatives on engineering aspects of projects.<br \/>\nTo maintain and review standard technical documentation for the group.<br \/>\nOversee the preparation of designs, estimates, submission of tenders and recommendations regarding engineering designs, construction techniques, engineering procedures and the utilization of new technology.<br \/>\nUnderstanding of engineering specifications and procedures.<br \/>\nEnsure effective provision of engineering services to project management for projects mainly through directing the efforts of Project Engineers, Design Engineers and Technical Assistants.<br \/>\nManagement of the EPCM engineering work including resources;<br \/>\nTechnical coordination of engineering progression through the Technical Leads;<br \/>\nEngineering support to the Execution Team through fabrication, installation, commissioning and handover of each project;<br \/>\nCoordination of engineering interfacing and scheduling with other departments such as procurement, construction etc;<br \/>\nOversight of quality control of the engineering design work in accordance with company standards and specifications.<br \/>\nResponsible to Project manager(s) for performance of the engineering team on multiple projects.<br \/>\nEnsuring safety in design is fully implemented by the Discipline Leads;<br \/>\nMonitoring the overall progress of engineering work and addresses problems areas if they arise, including assignment of additional resources or the provision of specialist help;<br \/>\nOverall management of engineering resources;<br \/>\nDevelopment assistance with Engineering scheduling, discipline Interfacing and identification of Long lead critical path engineering work;<br \/>\nOverall management of change within the engineering department, including scope, budget, schedule and design change;<br \/>\nIdentification of training needs within the engineering department;<br \/>\nCo-ordination and development of Site visit charters and management of Site review reports;<br \/>\nCo-ordination of peer reviews, design reviews and oversight of the squad check process;<br \/>\nIdentification of need for specialist input;<br \/>\nEnsuring all required references and standards are available to engineering team;<br \/>\nAssessing the performance and effectiveness of this plan and implementing any necessary improvements.<br \/>\nMonitor and review the activities of outside engineering consultants.<br \/>\nMaintain contact with client representatives on engineering aspects of projects.<br \/>\nQuality Assurance \u2013 Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the company<br \/>\nSafety \u2013 Responsible for personal safety safe working practices. Understand and follow OH&amp;S procedures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nTen (10) + years relevant offshore oil and gas experience in similar position is required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other Skills<\/strong><br \/>\nProven track record of working within project teams Proven ability to work with a minimal supervision Ability and willingness to meet agreed deadlines Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness and ability to work as part of team.
