We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0WASH PHP \/ NFI Assistant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Locations:<\/strong>\u00a0Yobe (Bade and Potiskum)<br \/>\n<strong>Job type:<\/strong> Full Time<br \/>\n<strong>Level:<\/strong> Entry<br \/>\n<strong>Start date:<\/strong> As Soon As Possible<br \/>\n<strong>Direct Line Manager:<\/strong> PHP \/ NFI Officer<br \/>\n<strong>Slot:<\/strong> 2 Openings<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tasks and Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nObjective 1 \u2013 Assist the PHP &amp; NFI Officer in context assessment and developing materials for hygiene promotion:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the PHP &amp; NFI officer in conducting home visits and visits to the community (schools, health facilities, etc.) to identify gaps in terms of hygiene, sanitation and use of water.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the PHP &amp; NFI officer in preparing training modules for the promotion of hygiene in the communities.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the PHP &amp; NFI officer in developing teaching tools adapted to different audiences, songs, role games, meetings, training courses.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in Identify targeted partners within the communities, schools, hospitals, clinics, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Objective 2 \u2013 Carry out safe hygiene promotion and mobilize members of the beneficiary communities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organize hygiene promotion awareness-raising sessions in health facilities and communities.<\/li>\n<li>Mobilize beneficiaries to adopt safe hygiene practices as promoted by the project (latrine construction, hand washing facilities, environmental cleanliness) in health facilities and communities.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the PHP &amp; NFI officer in conducting training sessions for the health workers, volunteers and\/or targeted populations.<\/li>\n<li>Write a weekly activity report.<\/li>\n<li>Propose possible improvements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Objective 3:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the PHP &amp; NFI officer in the process of beneficiaries selection to receive NFI assistance.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the PHP &amp; NFI officer in beneficiary registration.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the PHP &amp; NFI officer to distribute NFI kits to registered beneficiaries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Position Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nQualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of National Diploma in Health, Hygiene and Sanitation field, or 1 year experience in related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Experience:<\/strong><br \/>\nEssential:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience in hygiene promotion in the health facility and community mobilization.<\/li>\n<li>Motivated, open, creative, mature, responsible, flexible and, culturally sensitive one year relevant work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Willing and able to be based and travel regularly within remote areas, where services are limited.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in Hausa and English with Kanuri as an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience of work in the humanitarian sector<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of the intervention area\u2019s and local context<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience with Action Against Hunger<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Basic Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nN156,995 Naira per month<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/acfinternational.applytojob.com\/apply\/EbgGjKXKMj\/WASH-PHPNFI-Assistant-2-Positions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Click here to apply<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Friday, 31st July, 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Action Against Hunger is the world\u2019s hunger specialist and leader in a global movement that aims to end life-threatening hunger for good within our lifetimes.
