We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Head Teacher<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Abuja<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a Head-Teacher, you are the most senior teacher and leader of our primary school will be responsible for the education of our pupils, management of staff, and making policy for the school.<\/li>\n<li>You are responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the school, academic achievement of our pupils and the management of staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure day-to-day smooth running, management, organization and administration of the school in order to create a productive and disciplined learning environment.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a positive and appropriate educational environment, and create a programme that meets the intellectual and emotional needs of all of our pupils.<\/li>\n<li>Implement standards and Norms of British-Nigerian Curricular.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that the academic standard of the school is of the highest quality and excellence.<\/li>\n<li>Determine, organize and implement a diverse, flexible curriculum and implement an effective assessment framework<\/li>\n<li>Supervise teaching and learning programmes and oversee the implementation of electronic learning strategy and ICT development and learning<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with families to encourage mutual cooperation and adherence to school policies<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that all materials required for the smooth operation of curricular and co-curricular activities are made available and utilized as and when appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all academic staff updates their knowledge and keep abreast of developments in their respective discipline through active participation in subject associations, seminars, workshops and conferences where relevant.<\/li>\n<li>Formulate overall aims and objectives for the school and ensure strict implementation and compliance with the school policies.<\/li>\n<li>Report weekly, quarterly and annual on school\u0422s performance to senior management.<\/li>\n<li>Resolving major disciplinary issues with pupils, parents and member of staff.<\/li>\n<li>Develop weekly lesson plans, activities and class set-ups and assess children\u0422s needs and development<\/li>\n<li>Represent the school at conferences, seminars, events and other official programmes within and outside the school.<\/li>\n<li>Lead, motivate and manage staff by delegating responsibility, setting expectations, targets and evaluating staff performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 5 &#8211; 10 years experience<\/li>\n<li>Must have experience in British Curriculum<\/li>\n<li>Minimum Qualification of MBA \/ MSc, B.Sc with 8-10years experience<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to use MS word.<\/li>\n<li>Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nVery Attractive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV and Cover Letter to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:tenderyears_prep@yahoo.com\"><strong>tenderyears_prep@yahoo.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using &#8220;Job Title&#8221; as subject of your mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>15th August, 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tender Years Preparatory School (TYS) is a British-Nigerian school in Abuja that was established in 2005 and has maintained an outstanding reputation for the personal growth and academic excellence of&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[21],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
