It employs over 380 employees and sees Nigeria as a growth centre.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job ID<\/strong>: 280737<br \/>\n<strong>Job Function<\/strong>: Compliance<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide Compliance support, primarily to Corporate Finance, Principal Finance, Research and Capital Markets businesses<\/li>\n<li>To work on a global basis with the various regional and country compliance teams to ensure coordination and strategic implementation of compliance best practices for the respective businesses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Roles &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To implement appropriate compliance infrastructure and controls<\/li>\n<li>Perform risk assessments, and provide efficient and practical advice<\/li>\n<li>To provide the compliance support for transactions and ensure transactions are conducted in a compliant manner<\/li>\n<li>Pro-active risk identification of regulatory changes or business developments<\/li>\n<li>Development and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Regulatory risk management<\/li>\n<li>Provide advice on new product and new business structures<\/li>\n<li>Supervision of training requirements, monitoring, marketing activities, licensing and desk reviews<\/li>\n<li>Interface with global product heads for standardization, reporting and efficiency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Either a compliance officer or qualified lawyer with a background in corporate finance, principal finance, capital markets and\/or research experience with major investment banks<\/li>\n<li>Experience in regional regulatory issues in particular, in Africa<\/li>\n<li>Excellent regulatory management and relationship skills<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge on rules and regulations on corporate finance, capital markets, principal finance and\/or research<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Fluent English ability<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Leadership skills and management ability<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to excellence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In compliance with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Act of 2004, all applicants should ensure that they have completed the mandatory NYSC programme. A discharge certificate will be required as evidence of completion of the programme.
