They are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (Niger State Development Company)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Minna, Niger<br \/>\n<strong>Reference Number:<\/strong> 130-PEO01142<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> People &amp; Change Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Job type:<\/strong> Permanent<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roles &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nStrategy Formulations and Implementation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaises with the Board and the State Government to identify and define the direction of the company<\/li>\n<li>Oversees the development of the corporate strategy of the NSDC in alignment with the State Government\u2019s key strategic pillars<\/li>\n<li>Provides Strategic direction to the leadership team of the company to drive the NSDC towards sustainable growth<\/li>\n<li>Oversees the translation of high-level strategies into operational plans<\/li>\n<li>Leads the implementation of defined corporate culture and change management initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Oversees the company\u2019s periodic planning and budgeting process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Operational Effectiveness:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Initiates action on setting broad policy guidelines for company\u2019s operations on basis of policies laid down by the Board. Ensures that Senior Managers execute properly those related to their divisions<\/li>\n<li>Takes necessary execution action to keep the on course based on monthly situation reports from Divisional heads<\/li>\n<li>Reviews constantly the company\u2019s operational problems in conjunction with Functional heads in order to enhance efficiency for sustained growth and development.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains awareness and knowledge of contemporary operational development theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation to Directors, Managers and staff within the organization<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to the evaluation and development of operational strategy and performance in co-optation with the Executive team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Stakeholder Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintains good contacts with major shareholders of the; ensures that annual general meetings are held as required and properly conducted; oversees prompt payment of dividends<\/li>\n<li>Liaises effectively with the company\u2019s external publics and regulatory bodies; promotes good business ethics with a view to enhance the corporate image of the company<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Networking and Business Development:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Builds, enhances and maintains a comprehensive pipeline of strategic alliances, investors, financiers to ensure healthy business prospects for the company<\/li>\n<li>Identifies new markets and business opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Develop ideas and concepts for promotions of business and breaking into new markets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Leadership and People Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures that competent people are in critical roles and establishes a process for continuous people development<\/li>\n<li>Portrays\u2019 professional values and etiquette and teaches team to do the same; Invests in growing self and team.
