{"id":9409,"date":"2011-05-09T06:11:33","date_gmt":"2011-05-09T05:11:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=9409"},"modified":"2011-05-09T06:11:33","modified_gmt":"2011-05-09T05:11:33","slug":"2011-british-council-vacancy-dfid-country-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/2011-british-council-vacancy-dfid-country-manager.html","title":{"rendered":"2011 British Council Vacancy: DFID Country Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>NIGERIA \u2013 DFID COUNTRY MANAGER<\/strong><br \/>\nThe British Council in Nigeria is looking for a qualified individual to fill the post of an \u2018DFID Global School Partnerships Country Manager\u2019 based in Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Managing the programme against agreed DGSP country plans and budget to achieve new partnerships and grant targets, and submit agreed reports<br \/>\nManage and support the performance of the in-country DGSP Programme Coordinator<br \/>\nManaging programme relationships with Ministry of Education, DFID and VSO offices<br \/>\nMonitoring programme participation of special needs, girls, minority, and faith schools<br \/>\nSeek and manage synergy with other relevant internal programmes<br \/>\nActively share ideas and solutions to challenging issues with regional and UK DGSP teams<br \/>\nContribute to impact assessment through evaluation of the quality and effectiveness of programme services to schools and key stakeholders<br \/>\nManage establishment of new partnerships through partner finding and dissemination of programme information.<br \/>\nManage the Programme Coordinator in the provision of advice and guidance to schools via telephone, e-mail, website, meetings and school visits<br \/>\nMonitoring inclusion of global dimension activities in and sustainability of school partnerships<\/p>\n<p>HOW TO APPLY:<br \/>\nRead through the job description document.
