Key role<\/strong><\/p>\n To lead or assist teams in the design, development, programming, deployment, project documentations, and other tasks for various client projects. A passion for IT your specific skill set.
\nTo lead teams or work individually to develop various web applications including but not limited to HTML, PHP\/MYSQL , CMS, ERP , Open Source etc
\nTo provide second level support for basic client ICT issues including desktop maintenance, troubleshooting on various IT service infrastructure management and basic software troubleshooting.
\nTo research, learn and use technology including Open-Source solutions and Online communities (including Joomla, drupal, wordpress) ,
\nTo work with the development team on various mobile application products .
\nSecurity , Quality assurance and Testing using Web Standards .
\nAnd much more.
\nKey Requirement<\/p>\n
\nNot less than 10 previous web sites \/ Web Applications deployed\/developed in the past 2 years .
\nVast experience in Web Application Development is required : (PHP \/ MySQL)
\nAbility to manage small project teams \/ previous Project Management skills is required.
\nVast experience in use of various Open Source tools. (Zend, Drupal, Mootools)
\nBasic knowledge in use of Linux Servers .
\nMust have basic knowledge of Adobe Suite including Dreamweaver, Firework or other web development tools.
\nBasic knowledge of Design tools (Corel Draw, Photoshop, Fireworks) or Adobe Flash would be an added advantage.
\nBasic knowledge of Javascript and Javascript frameworks such as jQuery
\nMust be very \u201cTech-Savvy\u201d and know a little bit about anything IT
\nAbility to learn new skills fast
\nPrevious knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio would be an added advantage.
\nIT Certification is not required but is added advantage
\nApplicant must be able to present previous projects done at Interview .
\nEducation Qualification
\nMinimum of an OND, HND, BSc or their equivalent from any reputable higher Institution.
\nMinimum of 3 years (maximum of 10 years) of experience in a Web Development field or related industry (\u2018Informal\u2019 or freelance experience may suffice)
\nApplicants should not be more than 35 years of age as at December 2010
