\nMasters Degree in\u00a0IT related discipline or Master in\u00a0Business Administration (MBA) will be an advantage
\nMember of\u00a0Nigeria Computer Society
\nMust have the capacity to relate with the\u00a0IT stakeholders, the industry and the Government
\nMust have reasonable level of capability for effective financial drive
\nMust have a minimum of 10 years experience in the Information\u00a0Technology practice industry with at least 5 years at the managerial level.<\/p>\n
\nLiaising with members of the press with the approval of the President as and when due
\nGiving adequate support to the President and other members of the Executive in the running of various Committees
\nPreparing for consideration and consent of the President the following key documents:-
\nDeveloping and periodically reviewing as necessary a detailed organizational structure and operational guidelines with Chairman Audit Committee on the day-to-day running of the Society for discussion and consent of the President prior to consideration for adoption of Council; Developing and implementing aPerformance Management System\u00a0for the Secretariat including training of staff on operational procedures.
\nDeveloping and implementing strategies for creating awareness of the Society with a view to engendering goodwill and a positive disposition to the Society;
\nDeveloping strategies broad for encouraging members to participate fully in the activities of the Society.
\nDeveloping and implementing consistent and on-going strategies for membership drive and continuous active membership.
\nPreparing periodic operational and financial reports to the President for further consideration by Council
\nDeveloping strategies for collecting members\u2019 un-paid subscriptions
\nPreparing the Annual\u00a0Budget\u00a0for the various activities of the Society
\nEnsuring the financial viability of the Secretariat;
\nMaintaining the Register of Members;
\nKeeping minutes of the\u00a0business meetings of the society and of the Executive Council;
\nInforming members of the time, place and agenda of meetings<\/p>\n
