The U.S. Consulate General in Lagos State\u00a0is recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Computer Management Assistant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Announcement Number:<\/strong> Lagos-2020-035<br \/>\n<strong>Hiring Agency:<\/strong> Consulate General Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Series\/Grade:<\/strong> LE \u2013 1805 8<br \/>\n<strong>Promotion Potential:<\/strong> LE-8<br \/>\n<strong>Work Schedule:<\/strong> Full-time \u2013 40 hours per week<br \/>\n<strong>Appointment Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\nSecurity Clearance Required: Public Trust \u2013 Background Investigation<br \/>\nAppointment Type Details: Indefinite subject to the successful completion of probationary period.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The incumbent works as a System Network Administrator responsible for administration, management and analysis of the U.S Mission\u2019s complex network infrastructure of Intranet OPENNET (LAN) and Dedicated Internet Network \/ OPENNET PLUS (WAN) connectivity;<\/li>\n<li>The incumbent is responsible for implementation of complex network configurations, network architecture \/ topology, network access controls\/security optimization of network resources modification and maintenance of client-server database management systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Evaluations<\/strong><br \/>\nRequirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience: Minimum of two years experience in computer operations, programming, network operations, maintenance and repair; or a combination thereof is required.<\/li>\n<li>Job Knowledge:\u00a0 Knowledge of principles of computers, network operations and programming, as well as familiarity with administration of Local Area Networks are required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems Management is required.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to attain comptia certifications after one year of employment: A+, Network+ and Security+<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Evaluations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This may be tested.
