Smith Services provides a wide range of products and services to meet customer requirements for oil and gas drilling operations. Backed by the extensive experience and knowledge of our people, we aim to create unprecedented value for our customers by providing state-of-the-art drilling solutions for the most challenging formations.<\/p>\n

Main Duties:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Provides high level of support to the Fishing and Remedial product lines, technical selling support, key field product applications support, well prognosis, and\/or completion product performance support
\n\u2022 May be top Fishing and Remedial engineering\/technical position in region or area
\n\u2022 Identifies new product opportunities and development strategies
\n\u2022 Interfaces with product line management and local operations management to support direction and strategies to best capture market opportunities
\n\u2022 Handles special projects, as assigned
\n\u2022 Any other duties consistent with the post as required or directed
\n\u2022 Be familiar and comply with Smith International\u2019s QHSE Policies
\n\u2022 Ensure all required QHSE training and certification is current
\n\u2022 Possess a duty of care ensuring your own safety and that of other employees
\n\u2022 Co-operate with, participate in and strive to improve the Company\u2019s HSE Management Systems
\n\u2022 Report all accidents and incidents immediately
\n\u2022 Ability to perform all duties consistent with the post as required or directed<\/p>\n

Qualification\/Skills: <\/strong>
\n\u2022 Bachelors Degree, Master\u2019s Degree or PhD in Engineering
\n\u2022 Extensive knowledge about technology and proper application tools within three or more product lines
\n\u2022 Thorough understanding of down-hole hydraulics and rig operations
\n\u2022 Proficient use of computer based programs related to application of products
\n\u2022 Advanced problem solving and project management skills
\n\u2022 Good verbal and written communication skills
\n\u2022 Good leadership skills
\n\u2022 Good analytical skills<\/p>\n
