ROLE SUMMARY\/PURPOSE:<\/strong> The O&G Nigeria\u00a0Finance Manager\u00a0role oversees a team of 10 individuals across multiple sites, with cross functional interaction and internal and external relationships. The individual will be required to lead, and develop a team of professionals and ensure a proper compliance environment throughout the\u00a0business. One of the key goals is validating the controls and processes to have properly stated financial statements.<\/p>\n

Essential Responsibilities: This position will support the entire Nigeria O&Gbusiness\u00a0which covers all the P&Ls within O&G (Turbomachinery, Global Services, and Drilling and Production) and is within a growing emerging market with dynamic long-term growth with +$1B in potential future orders\/projects.<\/p>\n

The role requires the individual to demonstrate accountability for functional,\u00a0business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet\u00a0business\u00a0needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall\u00a0businessstrategy.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Serve as a\u00a0business\u00a0partner to the operating team to drive\u00a0businessinitiatives, growth, and profitability
\n\u2022 Partner with technical\/business\u00a0leaders and staff to drive operating performance and act as champion for cost optimization, productivity,inventory\u00a0accuracy & utilization, as well as\u00a0inventory\u00a0standard settings
\n\u2022 Develop estimates, operating plans, forecasts, reviews, reports (GAAP), Growth Playbook (3-year plan) and SII (1-year plan)
\n\u2022 Develop and establish financial policies & procedures
\n\u2022 Driving receivables management and past due focus
\n\u2022 Perform internal and external audits and ensure controllership and consistency of\u00a0accounting\u00a0process across the operations, drive controllership awareness and processes through operations teams and ensures finance compliance
\n\u2022 Drive compliance within the team, and\u00a0business\u00a0\u2013 examples such as : supporting quarterly compliance review boards,\u00a0training\u00a0other functions on key financial policies<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS\/REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in\u00a0Accounting\u00a0or Finance
\n\u2022 At least 7 additional years of experience in a financial position<\/p>\n
