It is active within the three business segments: Individual Banking that provides banking and financial services to individual customers; Business Banking that serves small and medium-sized enterprises, and Corporate Banking, focused on institutional clients<\/p>\n<p><label for=\"com.peopleclick.cp.formdata.JPM_DESCRIPTION\"><strong>Position Description<\/strong><\/label><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose<\/strong><br \/>\nMUST HAVE A LAW DEGREE<br \/>\nRisk Management<br \/>\nEnsure that all the necessary processes and controls are in place to properly manage the NPL book with special focus on accounts with legal issues.<br \/>\nMinimize the number accounts ending up in litigation<br \/>\nEnsure that all cases in court are disposed off speedily.<br \/>\nLiaise with external lawyers handling all cases in relation to all distressed assets in the Bank<br \/>\nEnsure maximum recovery on all accounts in litigation.<br \/>\nEnsure effective and efficient process of realizing any underlinning security.<br \/>\nControl and manage regularisation of accounts.<br \/>\nManage the control of the Post Write Off portfolio.<br \/>\nResolve all customer queries that arise on accounts in the NPL category.<\/p>\n<p>Relationships<br \/>\nLiaise with business partners on developments within Specialised Recoveries, and their needs.<br \/>\nCo-operative relationships between the various participants in the credit recovery processes.<br \/>\nMust have good relationship skills<\/p>\n<p>Regulatory<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with statutory, regulatory and supervisory requirements, to protect the reputation of the Group and to avoid legal action \/ sanction in respect of regulatory compliance matters.<br \/>\nMonitor adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements and enhance procedures, in need.<br \/>\nReport any breaches and exposures to the business unit head and \/ or the division\u2019s Regulatory Compliance Officer.<br \/>\nMaintain high ethical standards to prevent market abuse.<br \/>\nProvide relevant MI information to Head of Collections.<\/p>\n<p>Operational Management<br \/>\nMaintain a high level of customer service.<br \/>\nControl and monitor NPL accounts outsourced i.e. Court Orders for Repossession<br \/>\nManage and maintain workflow.<br \/>\nAny delegated ad-hoc function.
