Job Title: Project Facilities Manager

About the Job

  • Develop minimum standards for facilities and standard operating procedures for facilities management
  • Develop training programs for facilities Management including operation of offices, residences, camps airstrips and field operations supervision Contract Management of support services contracts.
  • Manage field support services.
  • Manage facilities design & construction contracts.
  • Manage lease and land agreements
  • Manage asset inventory
  • Manage Facilities Budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation of camp minimum standard operations procedures
  • Facilities budget and improve the cost efficiency of facilities and support services
  • Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators for contractors and Facilities Staff
  • Improve the competency and cost effectiveness of services contractors.
  • Contribute to the development and design of new facilities, Prepare facilities budgets
  • Review new services contracts, develop facilities management succession plans, identify suitable candidates for development and implement development and mentoring programs

Requirements

  • University Degree in Engineering (Petroleum/Mechanical/Civil/chemical or equivalent degree) or relevant extensive industry experience.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in oil and gas related project and onshore facilities construction activities
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience of project implementation work including both yard fabrication and field installation work
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role on extended assignment to developing country or countries.
  • Experience of multi-discipline oil and gas projects from conceptual design through to commissioning.
  • Experience of working with personnel from diverse cultural backgrounds. Highly organised and able to set and work towards clearly defined targets. Excellent communication and team working skills required
  • Very good communication skills. Very good English level both written and spoken

Job Title: Engineering and Construction Manager
Job Type: Contract

Job Description

  • Responsible for the major Contractor’s activities related to engineering, procurement, fabrication, and installation.
  • Champion a “no incident” HSE mind set and deliver excellent HSE performance.
  • Define and manage the site team required to manage HSE, QA/QC, inspections, interfaces, and document control through the execution of the project in accordance with the Project Execution Plan and contractual requirements.
  • Supervision of the engineering, fabrication and installation of the facilities.
  • Ensure that engineering, fabrication, and installation activities are planned and executed to safeguard the integrity of safety, health of personnel, and the environment.
  • Ensure that the facilities are designed and built in accordance with the project specification and the requirements of the Nigerian Authorities.
  • Ensure that safety studies, assessment of safety critical elements, risk analysis, availability studies, and failure mode analyses are carried out in accordance with the project specifications.
  • Identification of any interfaces having bearing on other contractors
  • Ensure that operational input and lessons learned are incorporated in the design.
  • Assist the Operations team in preparing and executing the offshore commissioning
  • Manage all interfaces and active participation in solving any problems related thereto, including coordination with regulatory bodies, NNPC, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure all permits and approvals are obtained timely.
  • Acceptance of facilities after installation.
  • Ensure the Contractor’s activities and deliverables are compliant with the Contract including management of safety and environmental issues.
  • Reporting of progress, deviations and areas of concern to the Project Manager.
  • Observe any threats to the execution of the work and assist the Contractor’s management in formulating effective and timely remedial action.
  • Responsible for strict Management of Change and make recommendations to the Project Manager on potential Variation Orders.
  • Ensure understanding, acceptance and visible commitment to HSE standards by the Contractor.

Requirements

  • 15 years of experience in engineering management, project management or construction management in the offshore industry in an appropriate position.
  • MS Degree in Engineering preferred, or BS.

Job Title: Mechanical/Integrity Engineer

About the Job

  • To assure the mechanical integrity of production facilities and ensure minimum risk to personnel, environment and facilities from materials or corrosion related issues.
  • To maintain and demonstrate that the Safety Critical Barriers are being safeguarded and that the Performance Standards are being met
  • Develop a working knowledge of the systems at facility in order to facilitate maintenance and fault finding activities.
  • Provide guidance & direction to facility staff in key mechanical areas.
  • Prepare and review Management System and CMMS work instructions and procedures relevant to mechanical systems.
  • Execute engineering investigations and design as needed to support facilities. Including individual design work, generating work packs, supervision, commissioning, handover, small project management and design review.
  • Participate in establishing standards for engineering and maintenance in conjunction with other discipline engineers with an emphasis on best practice and cost effectiveness.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and that work is conducted in accordance with Company and relevant third party standards.
  • Ensure adequate engineering change records are maintained and CMMS is updated, with timely close out of work involving record updates, inclusion of new equipment operation instructions and drawings.

Job Title: CMMS Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the CMMS system is working effectively between the onshore and offshore facilities
  • Responsible for the administration of the CMMS and for ensuring that the system software remains current and updated
  • Develop a CMMS training program for the offshore teams and participate in the training execution
  • Carry out periodic audits offshore to ensure that the system is being managed in accordance with Company procedures and policies.
  • Develop 14 day / 28 day / 3 month / 12 month and 5 year plans for the facilities
  • Provide guidance and direction to offshore operations in all CMMS matters
  • As new equipment is added manage updating of CMMS including updating parts lists, vendors, spares holdings, maintenance routines and equipment manuals.
  • Supervise changes to CMMS routines to capture learnings and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Engineering Degree (Mechanical or E&I preferred)
  • 10 years, of project and offshore oil and gas experience in CMMS system management.
