Job Title: HR Officer
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our HR team as an HR Officer. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our human resources functions and ensuring the overall well-being of our employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, and interviews.
  • Support new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Address employee queries and concerns, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Assist in resolving workplace conflicts and disciplinary matters.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
  • Handle HR-related administrative tasks, such as attendance tracking and leave management.
  • Support performance appraisal processes, guiding both employees and managers.
  • Identify opportunities for employee development and training.
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Assist with salary review processes and benchmarking.
  • Support implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures to ensure adherence across the organization.
  • Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Industrial and Labour Relations, Business Administration, Sociology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven working experience as an HR Officer
  • Sound knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • HR certification is a plus.
