Responsibilities

What you can expect:

• The successful incumbent will be responsible for developing of frame formulations with BASF raw materials for the sub-Sahara Africa market for hair care and skin care applications.

Duties will include the following:

• Formulation development and troubleshooting
• Modifying existing protocols/questionnaires and analyzing and reporting results
• Supporting all lab technical developments
• Managing inventory to forestall stockouts
• Product evaluation
• Analysis of data from routine tests

Requirements

What we expect:

• B.Sc Degree or Higher National Diploma in Engineering or Science
• 0-3 years experience in personal care formulation especially in hair and skin products
• Good knowledge of a variety of characterization techniques across personal care categories
• Good analytical thinking, communication, and organization skills; team player, and self-starter with a good sense of aesthetics and creativity
• Strong MS Office and Internet literacy
• Strong research skills
• Aptitude for learning
