Location: Island & Mainland – Lagos

Job Description

• Safely and efficiently transport items to their intended destinations, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of packages
• Plan the most efficient route for deliveries, considering factors like traffic, weather, and time constraints to minimize delivery times and costs.
• Handle packages with care, ensuring that fragile or sensitive items are not damaged during transit.
• Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with customers during deliveries.
• Maintain records of deliveries, including proof of delivery, and report any incidents or issues to the appropriate channels.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on the road.
• Regularly inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Stay in contact with dispatch or management to provide updates on the status of deliveries and receive instructions for new tasks.

Job Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with 2 – 4 years work experience.
• Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
• Physical fitness and endurance, especially for roles that involve manual handling of packages.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
• Adherence to safety and security procedures.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
