Job Title: Life Insurance Underwriter
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Type: Running Contract

Job Description

• We are looking for a Life Insurance Underwriter who will be responsible for evaluating the degree of risk involved in policy and take decision of acceptability of the risks involved.

Job Responsibilities

• Review individual applications and company records
• Advice on excessive or substandard risk
• Ensure that technical processes, procedures, and documentation are carried out effectively.
• Provide technical support to the head Life Underwriting.

Job Requirements

• First degree in Insurance and Acturial Science or related discipline
• Professional qualification such as CIIn/CII
• Knowledge of insurance regulatory policies and claims is necessary.
• Minimum of 1 year life underwriting experience.

Salary: N300,000 – 600,000 Annually
