Responsibilities
Food Preparation:
- Execute precise and high-quality preparation of tapas dishes.
- Maintain consistency in portion sizes, presentation, and taste.
Kitchen Management:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including scheduling, ordering supplies, and managing inventory.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Quality Control:
- Monitor the quality of ingredients and finished dishes to uphold culinary standards.
- Address any issues promptly and implement corrective measures.
Creativity and Innovation:
- Bring creativity to the kitchen, experimenting with flavors and techniques.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate new ideas into the tapas menu.
Customer Interaction:
- Collaborate with serving staff to explain and promote tapas offerings.
- Be receptive to customer feedback and adjust menu items accordingly.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 3-10 years experience
- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably with a focus on tapas or small plates.
- Culinary certification or experience.
- Leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly experienced in food safety and sanitation.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
- Passion for creating unique and memorable dining experiences.
