Job Title: Administrative Officer
Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to various departments within our organization.
  • The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to various departments within the organization, including data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning
  • Assist with the coordination of meetings and events, including scheduling, booking venues, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
  • Respond to inquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare and distribute internal and external correspondence, including letters, emails, and memos
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations, including formatting, proofreading, and editing
  • Manage and maintain office supplies and equipment, including ordering supplies and coordinating repairs and maintenance
  • Assist with travel arrangements, including booking flights and accommodation and preparing itineraries
  • Perform other administrative duties as required by the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field
  • Up to 3 years of experience in an administrative role or a related field
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy and quality of work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other business software
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Knowledge of office management procedures and equipment is an advantage
