Position Details:

Business Unit/Dept.: DCC Radio/Fibre/Operation Services Dept

Direct Boss: Head, Radio/Fibre Networks

Supervises: IT, Pre-NYSC, NYSC

• Carry out field surveys on terrain and generate maps based on the data gathered from the surveys Planning, designing and implementation of Radio backhaul links for high capacity Transmission Networks
• Path analysis, Determining line of site using Global Position System (GPS), Calculating link budget using link budget software such as Path – Loss link analyzers and drafting equipment specifications
• Configuring, Installing, Implementing and Troubleshooting Radio data networks from base station installation to Customer premises Equipment (CPE), as well as point to multi – point installation ( Using Wilan Radios i.e Ultima 3, Libra, VIP, stratex eclipse Radio. All in 2.4GHZ , 5.8GHZ and 7/8/13/15GHZ Frequencies
• Plan transmission links (LAN, WAN, etc) connecting various clients to DCC hub in Lekki
• Plan microwave transmission systems for backhaul networks.
• Fibre optic implementation and Support
• Wimax Radio implemention and Support

Educational Qualification: B Sc./HND Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering

Experience(Yrs): 2-5 years

Professional Certification: CCNA, CWNA (An added advantage)
