Job Title: Human Resources Executive
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time on-site role

Role Description

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily HR operations, employee relations, developing and implementing HR policies, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. They will be responsible for reporting to senior management and providing HR guidance to employees and managers.

Responsibilities

Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to candidate onboarding.
  • Conduct interviews and collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs.

Employee Relations:

  • Address and resolve employee concerns or grievances.
  • Foster a positive work environment and manage employee relations initiatives.

Performance Management:

  • Implement performance appraisal systems and provide feedback to employees.
  • Develop and monitor performance improvement plans when necessary.

HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
  • Facilitate workshops or training sessions as required.

Benefits Administration:

  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Communicate and educate employees about available benefits.

Strategic Planning:

  • Contribute to HR strategy development aligned with overall organizational goals.
  • Provide input on workforce planning and organizational development.

Recordkeeping and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare reports related to HR metrics and trends.

Workplace Culture:

  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.

Legal Compliance:

  • Stay updated on labor laws and regulations.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with legal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of HR Management, HR Operations and Employee Relations is a must
  • Experience in HR Policies development and implementation is required
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Laws and Regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field
  • Professional Human Resources certification will be an added advantage

Salary
N250,000 / month
