Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and talented private chef to live & work in a private household in Victoria Island, Lagos.
• The ideal candidate must be a Christian, trustworthy, friendly, and creative, with a passion for cooking healthy and balanced meals and a commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for creating menus, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and kitchen management.

Key Responsibilities

• Create weekly menus that take into account your dietary preferences and requirements while also showcasing creativity and innovation in meal planning.
• Plan and prepare healthy and balanced meals that are delicious with good presentation.
• Shop for groceries and kitchen supplies, ensuring that the kitchen is always well stocked with fresh and high-quality ingredients.
• Manage the kitchen’s day-to-day operations, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
• Ensure that all meals are prepared and served on time and that all food safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in culinary arts or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working as a private chef, preferably in a private household.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements.
• Excellent culinary skills and a passion for creating healthy, balanced, and innovative meals.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well independently.
• Must be a Christian.
• Must be trustworthy, friendly, and creative.

Salary and Benefits

• N100,000/ month (slightly negotiable)
• Air-conditioned accommodation.
