A fast-growing Indigenous Marine Company based in Sapele, Delta State requires the services of the following:

1. Electro-Technical Officers (ETO)

Role & Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for maintenance of all the electrical motors on ship i.e. in engine room and on deck and shall perform maintenance of all switchboards including main switchboard and emergency switchboard.
  • Ensuring maintenance of fire detectors and fire alarm system, perform maintenance on all the ship’s alarm system and ensure all the batteries that are connected to machineries onboard which includes:–Emergency batteries for alarm and lights, Lifeboat batteries,  Batteries for emergency generator and other batteries fitted onboard
  • Ensure the ship’s navigational lights and other navigational equipment are within operation specification.
  • Assist in watch keeping routines at desired time by the chief engineer and also assist ship’s engineer and deck officer in resolving all kind of electrical problems.

Qualification:

  • ETO Licence (STCW III/6)

–         Minimum 6 years experience on a DP2 Multi-purpose IMR/ROV Subsea Support Vessel

 

2. Crane Operators

            Role & Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:

  • Operate travelling or stationary overhead crane to lift, move and position loads such as machinery, equipment, products and solid or bulk materials written, verbal or signal instructions.
  • Clean and maintain crane and hoisting mechanism.
  • Inspect crane for using hoisting attachments such as hooks, sling, electromagnet or bucket: Observe load hook-up and determine safety of load.
  • Manipulate or depress crane controls such as pedals, levers and buttons to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to
  • defective parts and notifies supervisor of defects or malfunctions.

Qualification

  • COC Offshore Crane Stage 3

–         Minimum 8 years experience on a DP2 Multi-purpose IMR/ROV Subsea Support Vessel
