Job Title: Head of Sales
Location:
 Lagos

Job Description

  • Finchglow Travels is looking to hire Head, Sales who will be be responsible for spearheading the growth of businesses by sourcing and securing Travel accounts to increase the profitability of the organization totaling billions of Naira in profit.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Identify and acquire new customers and also ensure their profitability is maintained
  • Actively contribute to the growth strategy and wider business plan of the company
  • Supervise call plan of Sales team through Business Development Managers
  • Identify potential Corporate Clients, Access their credit worthiness and target them for closure within a set timeframe
  • Provide accurate forecast and ensure that all branch targets are met
  • Manage and lead the sales team in the different branches
  • Develop, Establish and Enforce goals, as well as, policies and procedures for the sales team
  • Conduct weekly/monthly sales meeting and trainings
  • Deal with clients’ complaints as a matter of urgency in accordance with company policy
  • Define KRAs for the Account Officers in sync to the annual target provided
  • Acquire Large Multinational Corporate Accounts and handling hardcore negotiations
  • Stay updated with recent market/industry trends, competitors & leading customer strategies
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly report
  • Setting out a long-term, strategic marketing vision for the company in line with growth objectives
  • Analyze customer research, the market and competitor data and making recommendations that drive the growth of the brand
  • Leading all marketing activities and measuring performance through developing appropriate marketing metrics
  • Maintaining, developing and researching potential new strategic relationships within the sector to help drive the growth of the brand
  • Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness

Qualifications & Experience

  • First degree in marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • 7+ years’ experience with a minimum of 4 years demonstrated involvement working in supervisory role for direct sales
  • Strong prospecting skills and Excellent closing skills
  • Exceptional verbal, written & presentation communication skills
  • Experience working in the Travel Industry will be an added advantage
  • Excellent customer service delivery focus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities
  • Good attitude and strong work ethic
  • Excellent Leadership and Managerial Skills
  • Result driven & target oriented

 

Job Title: Destination Consultant
Location: 
Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking to hire Destination Consultants responsible for selling, arranging and promoting holiday and travel products to clients by working with the Destination Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with coach operators, airlines, hoteliers and resort representatives to get best prices and packages for clients
  • Attend exhibitions and holiday shows
  • Collect and provide comprehensive information and coordinate guest requests regarding hotel services, sporting events, attractions, restaurants, theater, airline, transportation tickets, limousine rentals, sightseeing tours and any other information of interest
  • Handle reservations and obtain/issue tickets where applicable
  • Responsible for researching and providing destination sites, including corporate and leisure locations
  • Work with local and international tourist site to promote tour packages
  • Assist clients with all products /Services rendered at Finchglow Holidays
  • Make arrangements for transport, accommodation and tour activities
  • Research on information about accommodation fares and ratings
  • Reporting of activities performed on a weekly basis to the Destination Manager
  • Contact hoteliers, check availability, produce quotes and present options to clients for booking
  • Offering excellent customer service and build a rapport with clients
  • Take enquiries from corporate clients regarding their local and international hotel requirements and services
  • Ensure effective and efficient debt recovery from clients

Qualification & Experiences

  • First Degree in a related field with a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a similar role
  • Result Oriented & Target Driven
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Highly innovative skills
  • Customer profiling on the GDS i.e. Amadeus etc.
  • Ability to relate to clients at various levels within their organizations using diplomacy and tact
  • Excellent customer service delivery
  • High proficiency levels with the use of Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to work under pressure and effectively multi-task while maintaining professional rapport with clients
