Job Title: Groundsman
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Department: Technical and Maintenance

Summary of Responsibilities

• We are seeking to employ suitably experienced, competent goal oriented, self-motivated person with a good track record, responsible for ensuring to provide and oversee the upkeep of hospital grounds and property in order to ensure the safety, health and welfare of the employees, public and visitors to the hospital.
• Responsibilities include maintaining the premises in clean and orderly condition including the care and maintenance of tools, equipment, and structures such as buildings, fences, and benches as well as the management, supervision and co-ordination of activities of workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises.

Job Requirements

• Candidates should possess an WASSCE/SSCE or equivalent
• A horticultural qualification would be an advantage
• Computer literate
• Good verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of safe use of chemicals such as insecticides and herbicides
• Basic maintenance of tools and equipment.
