Livestock Feeds Plc is a subsidiary of UACN, engaged in production of Animal Feeds and other related products. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

 

 

 

Job Title: Procurement Manager
Location: Lagos

 

About the Job

• Responsible for strategic sourcing, pricing, and buying major and micro materials including head office logistics.
• The job holder also assists the Supply Chain Manager in the day-to-day supervision and running of the Department.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that there is no stock of materials around the mills
• Ensures OTIF delivery of materials at competitive prices.
• Daily/ weekly market intelligence
• Checking the warehouses to ensure proper stacking of materials.
• Ensure prompt offloading by working closely with Warehouse Managers
• General staff supervision to ensure the job is done according to the processes provided.
• Process payment and follow up on accounts to ensure prom payment to suppliers
• Any other duties as may be assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Experience in the agro-allied industry preferably in the animal feed sector.
• Must have worked in a manufacturing environment dealing with raw materials for at least 5 years.
• Working experience in an SAP environment is required
• Experience in logistics operations
