Job Title: Workshop Manager
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage workshop operations, ensuring effective utilization of resources and meeting service requirements
• Supervise and mentor workshop personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, aligned with operational needs, and used safely
• Oversee stock control and spare parts management, ensuring an adequate inventory level
• Conduct training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of workshop staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Vocational Skill Certificate in a relevant field
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Workshop Manager, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficient in repairing heavy-duty vehicles, such as tractors and bulldozers
• Strong skills in collaboration, documentation, CAD, health and safety management, troubleshooting, welding, and hydraulics
• Proactive mindset with a focus on innovation
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
