Position Overview
- To be a first-level legal adviser and other legal service provider at SBC’s Head Office.

Informal Dispute Resolution:
- Resolving disputes at Pre-litigation/Arbitration/Mediation stage(s)
Marketing, & Corporate Services Contracts Drafting:
- Key Accounts contracts
- Agency Agreements
- Distribution Agreements
- Vehicle Support Agreements
- Haulage/Logistics Agreements
- Contracts for Consumer and Market Insights
- Agreements for Courier Services
- Catering Contracts
- Cleaning Contracts
- HMO Service Contracts
- IT Contracts
- Staff Bus Agreements
- Outsourced Labour Agreements
- Security Contracts
Consulting:
- Providing advice to the company in the following areas:
- Competition Law
- Advertising Regulation
- Labour Law/Disciplinary proceedings
- Data Protection
- Taxation (excluding excise)
- Governance and Corporate Law
- Contract Law/Sale of Goods.
Managing the Company’s Litigation Portfolio Legal Counselling to Affiliate Companies:
- Will attend to the legal affairs (including litigation) of – Sunglass (Glass Bottle supplier) and Green Eagle (Cap Supplier).
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree qualification
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Project Management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and priorities when the workload is heavy
- Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria
- At least 7-years’ post-call experience
- Industry Skills (product development and regulation, product liability, advocacy and engagement, illicit trade, trade and distribution, marketing,
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised.
